Will the White Sox win more times than the Cubs in their first 10 games? Will Rory McIlroy’s longest drive at the Waste Management Open exceed Patrick Mahomes’ passing yards at the Super Bowl? Will Lee Westwood finish in the top 10 at the Honda Classic – but not win?
These are stellar recent examples of Name A Bets that appeared on PointsBet.
HOW DOES NAME A BET WORK?
In simplest terms: You name it, we price it.
Clients can go to the left-hand side menu, click on ‘Name A Bet- Request Now’ and then Request Your Bet. Fill out the form and – voila – our traders will price your bet. Within reason.
WHAT BETS CAN I NAME?
We probably won’t offer a bet on whether Andy Dalton will throw for 500 yards in his Bears debut.
But will he throw for 250 yards and rush for a touchdown in a Bears victory? That we can do.
Common Name A Bet submissions that will not get priced include: Single Game Parlays, Parlays that can be built on site, or very obscure requests.
Name A Bet submission examples that WILL get priced: James Harden to get a triple double and Nets to win, Padres and Dodgers both to win 100+ games, Either USC or UCLA to cover the spread, 3rd overall pick in the NFL draft, Total Combined Wins for White Sox and Cubs
Bets must be requested at least two hours before the game, match or contest begins. Clients must choose from among the sports listed on the site. And the bet cannot be on the opposite side of a booster market.
Also, some market and state-specific rules apply.
Name A Bet is exclusive to PointsBet. So get creative, name a bet and tell all your friends!
